So the first thing about showing your school spirit in your home is simple, I recommend you buying your school house. I mean its only natural that you have your school castle, nothing shows more school pride than that right. So let's start out from a decorator's point of view.
Choosing your School Castle
STORM SCHOOL CASTLE
This castle, in my opinion is the smallest of the school houses both inside and out. However it has quite a fantastic ocean view, rushing waves and all.
Your biggest challenge with this castle is the steampunk green that you cannot hide with wallpaper, but why would you right? Giant underwater dome = awesome ideas.

FIRE SCHOOL CASTLE
This castle, while it is very dramatic on the outside, it has some very choppy edges that can prove challenging when trying to decorate. The atmosphere of the fire house is very nice, I mean hello! I live in a castle eternally engulfed in flames, no other castle is that cool :) The inside of this house is also very nice, in fact it was my favorite to decorate. With about three little nooks in addition to the big rooms you will find this very spacious but with some creativity you can decorate without going over the 250 limit. Yes that's how simple this castle to decorate.

ICE SCHOOL CASTLE
This castle is ABSOLUTELY picturesque! There's something so magical about the Ice House both inside and outdoors. Outdoors has the beautiful blueish crisp white snow, broken patches that serve as small bridges/walkways not to mention the Giant battling the Dragon. The inside of the house is even more gorgeous, and personally I would recommend using very little wallpaper in this home. The walls themselves are a very pretty shade of blue.
My issue with this house is the giant sprouting ice shards, while they add a nice effect, they are a royal pain to design around or incorporate.

BALANCE SCHOOL HOUSE
This castle is again in my opinion one of the most well rounded castles of the school houses. The coolest feature of the house of course is the giant waterfall on the inside. The inside space is quite large but don't be intimidated, it is space you can use very well. The outdoors is a decorators dream, I mean you can apply just about any vision to this space. The biggest issue with this house is the giant head sticking up through the ground, you will just have to either leave it as is or use your creativity to hide it.

DEATH SCHOOL HOUSE
This castle..oh this lovely castle seems to be the go to castle for most wizards, even those who aren't death wizards. What can one say about the death house that isn't obvious? Nothing. There are so many ways you can go with this castle, you can have your Halloween theme, your regular death students house or you can go big and majestic and do a true Vlad the Impaler/Dracular castle.

LIFE SCHOOL HOUSE
This castle was just average to decorate for me. Okay so I'll say it was one of my least favorite of the school houses to decorate, I know I know, it is a great looking house, very outdoorsy and true to the school of Life...however I feel that (IMHO) the Mooshu Cottage would have been better suited as a Life School house instead of this giant tree house. This house is very easy to decorate both indoors and out. The biggest issue of this one is for me the fact that you cannot change the wallpaper and flooring of the entrance room as well as that little pond on the inside as you enter the house. The pond looks a bit out of place to me and I couldn't quite work it into my theme.

MYTH SCHOOL CASTLE
This castle is just full of awesomeness! The outdoor space is huge there are so many things you can do outside. The inside is also amazing while the rooms are a bit small, there are two big spaces that stand out, the entrance area and a nice grassy area on the second level. My biggest issue with this house was the odd angles as well as the annoying falling bricks lol good thing we're wizards and we can keep those bricks in floating suspension or else there would be too many lawsuits.
Myth Decor
CELESTIAL SCHOOL OBSERVATORY
Okay okay so I know you guys are going to be like "Say what Sky?"...Let me get this out, I choose to include this house as a school house because it is the only house that features elements of all celestial school houses. Every part of this house represents the celestial schools. Each floor of the main house corresponds to a school (Moon, Sun, Star). The outside features on each side of the yard a moon themed spot and a sun themed spot. I honestly didn't have much problems with decorating this castle but I will say that maybe the odd angles might be a bit of a pain to work around.
