Decorating with small to medium plants is fairly easy to do, just a bit of creativity and a small rug! Plants/shrubs/bushes and small flowers can be placed into or on just about any housing item.
- Place your "vase" item where you want it.
- Take out your shrub/bush/flower and place it down on the floor somewhere out of the way.
- Select your small rug, and without placing it down, use your mousewheel or "ctrl + >" (if you're on a laptop, rotate it near your plant so that the plant moves with it.
- Now that you have your plant "in motion", simply move the rug to the top or slightly below the top of your "vase" item and rotate it, using the vase item as your "ladder" . Your plant will go with it.
- Keep rotating it until you are satisfied with the position then right click or cancel, sending your rug back to your inventory. Do NOT place your rug!
- Now your plant is placed, but we're not finished! If you leave your plant will revert back to its original position, you DO NOT want this, so what you do is, step close and then click on your plant > click "move"without moving your mouse simply click it back into the same spot. This sets the plant down permanently where you've positioned it.
